Dr. Ryan Remedios

Ryan Remedios, Ph.D. is Neuroscientist at the California Institute of Technology.
 
Ryan was previously Neuroscientist at the Max Planck Institute for Biological Cybernetics.
 
He coauthored Unimodal Responses Prevail within the Multisensory Claustrum, Monkey drumming reveals common networks for perceiving vocal and nonvocal communication sounds, An Auditory Region in the Primate Insular Cortex Responding Preferentially to Vocal Communication Sounds, LIM Genes Parcellate the Embryonic Amygdala and Regulate Its Development, Selective Requirement of Pax6, But Not Emx2, in the Specification and Development of Several Nuclei of the Amygdaloid Complex, and A stream of cells migrating from the caudal telencephalon reveals a link between the amygdala and neocortex.
 
Ryan earned his BSc in Life Sciences and Biotechnology at K.C. College in 2002. He earned his MSc in Neuroscience at Tata Institute of Fundamental Research in 2005. He earned his Ph.D. in Neuroscience at the Max Planck Institute for Biological Cybernetics in 2010.
