Peter Fedichev,
Ph.D. is Cofounder and Chief Scientific Officer at
Quantum Pharmaceuticals.
Quantum Pharmaceuticals is a technology based drug discovery company.
They
develop a unique computational drug discovery platform (QUANTUM),
provide drug discovery services, and pursue their own in-house drug
discovery projects searching for novel compounds with anti-bacterial,
anti-viral, and anti-cancer efficacy.
Peter is a former assistant professor at the Institute for Theoretical
Physics (Innsbruck University, Austria). He is author of over 40
scientific papers and earned his Ph.D. from the University of Amsterdam.
He worked at the FOM
Institute for Molecular and Atomic Physics in Amsterdam and the
Institute for Molecular Physics at Russian Research Center “Kurchatov
Institute” (Moscow, Russia).
His papers include
Application of a novel in silico high throughput screen to identify
selective inhibitors for protein–protein interactions,
Defect-Suppressed Atomic Crystals in an Optical Lattice,
Structure-based drug design of a new chemical class of small
molecules
active against influenza A nucleoprotein in vitro and in vivo,
BKT phase transition in a 2D system with long-range
dipole-dipole interaction,
O(N) continuous electrostatics solvation energies calculation method
for biomolecules simulations, and
Liquid-liquid phase transition model incorporating evidence for
ferroelectric state
near the lambda-point anomaly in supercooled water.
