Margarita
Liptsin is History of Science Ph.D. student at
Harvard University where she is researching the ethics of contemporary
science and
technology.
Margarita is developing a thoughtful ethic for
the future to
guide science and technology. Her expertise/interest includes:
ethics, continental philosophy, science policy, nanotechnology,
complexity, dynamic systems, responsibility, international perspectives,
art and literature, human condition, self-organization, control, and
emergence.
She earned her
Bachelor of Arts (with Honors in Interdisciplinary Studies in
Humanities)
in International Relations with a Minor in Economics
from Stanford University in 2008.
She graduated from the Singularity University in
2009 where her SU Track was Policy, Law, and Ethics.
