Manny
Ratafia, MS, MBA is CEO of Ratafia Ventures,
CEO of Technology Management Group, and
CEO of Lyon-Ratafia.
Manny is an entrepreneur, executive, angel investor, and management
consultant, based in the New Haven area. He has founded and run ventures
in a variety of technology areas and has consulted to CEOs, owners, and
senior executives of companies in medical devices, medical imaging,
digital imaging, metrology, scientific instruments, computer software
and hardware, digital video systems, medical disposables, wound healing,
pharmaceuticals, separations, biotechnology, chemicals, publishing,
conferences, factory automation, laboratory instrumentation, sensors,
consulting, and plastics processing.
He has run
international
conferences for senior executives and researchers in a variety of
technology and market subjects. Since May 2008, he is CEO of
Lyon-Ratafia, a technology startup involved in computer software and in
optical systems for minimally invasive medical devices.
Boards that Manny is currently on include Fairfield University School of
Engineering, FIRST Robotics, MIT Enterprise Forum, and MIT
Club.
Angel groups he has been affiliated with include Angel Guild, Angel
Investor Forum, Silicon Garden Angels, ASTIA, Landmark Venture Forum,

Manny earned a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from The
Cooper Union, a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from MIT, a
Master’s degree in Engineering and Applied Physics from Harvard
University, and an MBA from Dartmouth College.
