Dr. Keith Taggart
Keith Taggart,
Ph.D. is currently Chief Technology Officer of
SPEC Innovations and
Secretary of the
International Space Development HUB (ISDhub).
Keith earned his Ph.D. from Case Western Reserve University in
Theoretical Elementary Particle Physics. Since then he has forty-two years of
extensive and diverse experience in the Department of Defense and
Department of Energy research and development communities in the fields
of systems analysis, technical analysis, software development,
scientific research, computational physics, systems engineering, defense
policy analysis, space systems analysis, space systems engineering,
proposal development, and technical and program
management.
While
employed at SAIC, he worked on two very large and complex
system-of-systems development programs, eight years as Red Team Leader
for one then eleven years as an IPT Lead and later as head trouble
shooter for the other. He was leader of the Computer Code Development
Group at Los Alamos National Laboratory and Laboratory Liaison to
Congress for strategic defense programs.
Keith currently works
part time in the Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for
Systems Engineering in the System-of-Systems group. In addition, he
devotes half time to space systems analysis and space systems related
proposal development. He has numerous professional publications
and is member of a number of highly respectable industry associations
like the AIAA (American institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics),
INCOSE (International Council on Systems Engineering), AUSA
(Association of the US Army), and NDIA (National Defense Industry
Association). He has received six professional recognition
awards.
