Elizabeth T. Ploshay

Elizabeth T. Ploshay is Manager of Communications at Bitcoin Magazine and Director of Marketing for Bittrivia.com.
 
Elizabeth has worked on Capitol Hill as a Legislative Correspondent, Scheduler, and Middle East Policy Assistant for Chief Deputy Majority Whip, Congressman Peter J. Roskam (IL-06). She has also worked for Targeted Victory and Congressman Kevin Brady (TX-08).
 
With a background in public policy, Middle Eastern politics, and a keen desire to promote limited government and free market principles and advocate for Constitutional rights, she is fascinated with the Bitcoin currency and the multiple opportunities for this decentralized peer-to-peer currency to flourish. Elizabeth is currently focusing on debunking the myths of this new up and coming cryptocurrency and specifically working to educate her former peers in Washington, DC as to how Bitcoin is not a liability but an asset to our nation and global community.
 
She is an advocate for the arts and has studied classical voice at Wheaton College’s Conservatory of Music and participated in the NJ All State Choir and in the ACDA All Eastern Choir.
 
Elizabeth earned her BA in Political Science from Wheaton College in 2011.
