Eliana Sheriff
Eliana Sheriff is a Full-Time Content Creator at Ellie in Space on her Mission to Capture the New Space age and Mission to Mars.
She has been an avid YouTube and TikTok Creator specializing in SpaceX, Tesla, and all things Elon Musk. With her skills as a journalist, she is trying to cover the angles of the story no one else is investigating. With an ambitious mission to Mars ahead, she believes documenting this journey is crucial and deserves more attention than the mainstream media chooses to contribute.
She went full-time with her YouTube channel to bring stories that matter with interviews, timely news coverage, and unique deep dives to raise the viewers’ passion for the future.
Previously between September 2021 and June 2022, Ellie was a Reporter and Multimedia Journalist at Fox 13 in Salt Lake City, Utah where she moved after 5 years at KEPR Action News. Listen to The State of Journalism with Former TV News Anchor Eliana Sheriff.
Ellie worked as a TV News anchor and reporter for over 8 years and decided to take those skills and transition into full-time, independent space reporting.
Ellie earned her Bachelor’s Degree in English Language and Literature from Loyola Marymount University in 2014. Her degree was with an emphasis on Writing and Journalism.
She got her first job as Assistant Producer and Reporter for a local television station KEVN Black Hills FOX in Rapid City, South Dakota, where she worked from August 2014 until September 2016.
After reporting for two years in the Black Hills, she decided to switch regions and move to Medford, Oregon’s Southern Region in September 2016 where she began her Reporting for KEPR Action News until May 2018, when she became the News Anchor for Richland, Kennewick, and Pasco Cities. From 2013 to May 2014, she worked for The Loyolan newspaper in Greater LA for half a year and in the summer of 2014, Ellie was CNN iReporter for two months before becoming a Reporter and Producer at Black Hills FOX.
When Ellie is not working or making content for her channel, she is most likely sport rock climbing, bouldering, or hiking. She loves to be outside and be active.
Recently bodybuilding became her lifestyle as well, when in 2018 she enlisted the help of Roger Baker to get in shape. Through training with Roger over the years, Ellie has learned not just how to improve her physique through nutrition and exercise, but she’s also learned how to harness the mental fortitude required to make big dreams possible.
