Dallas Bienhoff, MS

Dallas Bienhoff, MS is the In-Space and Surface Systems Manager for Boeing Space Exploration.
 
Dallas is responsible for developing concepts and capturing contracts related to fixed orbital infrastructure systems (e.g., in-space propellant depots, orbiting assembly nodes, Deep Space habitats, communications & navigation networks), Moon and Mars surface systems (e.g., habitats, rovers, mining and processing equipment), and human servicing missions. He is also responsible for identifying, capturing, and creating commercial space opportunities in the Earth–Moon system.
 
He has 36 years of space systems experience with 28 in advanced programs development. He has led many internal and contract studies on Space exploration architectures, Earth to orbit transportation architecture studies, and lunar habitat concepts. He was the Program Manager for Boeing’s Minimum Functionality Habitation Element contract study for NASA’s Lunar Surface Systems Project Office and was a contributor to the DoD National Security Space Office’s Space-Based Solar Power Study in 2007.
 
He earned his MS in Engineering from CSU–Northridge in 1985 and his BSME from the Florida Institute of Technology in 1974.
