Bastian Brand, Ph.D. is Investment Manager at Pathfinder Capital.
 
Pathfinder Capital was created in order to provide investors with a structured way to access the potential high-growth opportunities available in today’s frontier markets.
 
At its core, Pathfinder creates opportunities in two ways: through the creation and financing of innovative new ventures, and through the structuring of investment funds and special-purpose vehicles.
 
Bastian was previously CEO at Sternkaufen24.de, Doctoral Student at the University of Mainz, and Practice Specialist at McKinsey & Company.
 
Bastian earned his Diploma in Finance at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University of Frankfurt am Main in 2002. He earned his Master of Arts (M.A.) in European Studies at the University of Bath / IEP Paris in 2004. He earned his Doctor of Philosophy (Magna Cum Laude) in Business Administration and Management, at the Johannes Gutenberg University of Mainz in 2013.
