The results from Katcher’s latest study will be written up when Sima dies, but data gathered so far suggests that eight rats that received placebo infusions of saline lived for 34 to 38 months, while eight that received a purified and concentrated form of blood plasma, called E5, lived for 38 to 47 months. They also had improved grip strength. Rats normally live for two to three years, though a contender for the oldest ever is a brown rat that survived on a restricted calorie diet for 4.6 years.

“The real point of our experiments is not so much to extend lifespan, but to extend youthspan, to rejuvenate people, to make their golden years really potentially golden years, instead of years of pain and decrepitude,” Katcher said. “But the fact is, if you manage to do that, you also manage to lengthen life and that’s not a bad side-effect.”

Results from such small studies are tentative at best, but some scientists believe the work, and similar efforts by others, has potential. A preliminary study from a collaboration between Katcher and experts at the University of California in Los Angeles found that infusions of young blood plasma wound back the biological clock on rat liver, blood, heart and a brain region called the hypothalamus. Commenting on the work in 2020, Prof David Sinclair, a leading expert on ageing at Harvard medical school, said if the finding held up, “rejuvenation of the body may become commonplace within our lifetimes”.

It has been known for some time that young blood plasma can confer beneficial effects on various organs in mice, although the mechanisms and implications remained unclear. A recent breakthrough experiment is attracting more attention to this area of research: rats treated with a blood plasma mixture known as E5 subsequently had their effective biological age measured by epigenetic clocks, involving 593 tissue samples. The result was a halving of the epigenetic ages of blood, heart, and liver tissue, and a lesser reduction (still statistically significant) in the epigenetic age of the hypothalamus. This has been heralded as the single most dramatic age-reversal experiment in mammals to date.

On Saturday 18th September, the lead designer of these experiments, Dr Harold Katcher, joined London Futurists to present his analysis of the findings, his own distinctive theories of aging, and his expectation for future research and applications. Omitting natural disasters like an asteroid smashing Earth or a volcano eruption we can say that improving human health and condition is the most important safety case/concern and the fundamental thing to consider and accomplish on our way to be super cosmic humanity. Significant health improvements will free us from all diseases, allow us to develop superhuman intelligence, let us totally self-realize, and consequently, help realize the infinity in the matter for the common good. However intensively we focus on intelligence, it is not possible to experience its natural consequence or the next level of its advancement/evolution if there is no good health. Coherent and consistent collective mind continuum experience is not possible without super health (Healthy life that is free from the danger of uncontrollable death). Our bodies are short-timed and not strong enough to hold up the Earth-Gravity-Geometry sized/adjusted thoughts that are necessary to naturally manage and effectively inhabit our planet.

Our lives often seem to be episodic where the memories and thoughts get lost — one might say that this is the matter of learning and perfecting the mind but this is as far from the truth as big is the number of people who struggle with having a comprehensive perspective, not because of the lack of will to do so but because of the lack of comfort of having good health and life conditions. The comfort of the living space we got ourselves on the planet after the ages of technological developments and evolution is not a direct effect of our intelligence — The main factor for human intelligence is common health. Weak wiring of the nervous system makes it difficult to communicate progress, and therefore, build with the big human intelligence. We need to constructively adjust our metabolic paths, understand and fix our cells, learn to touch and manipulate our DNA, improve internal signaling, and get super healthy if we want to use real great human intelligence to build a wonderful future. The house we can create on the fundaments of super long healthspans will be the first of its kind and magnitude — I hope to give a good vision of the new world in order to get the good motivation to proceed in life and actually get there.

We do a fundraiser for the collection of support signatures for the admissions of the German Party for Health Research to the German federal election and to the state elections in Berlin and Thuringia. Those three elections take place on September 26th 2021.

Attention: According to the law, we are not allowed to receive more than 1000 Euro per year per donor from donors, who live outside the European Union.

Unlike in other countries, in Germany parties with 5 % of the votes or more get into parliament and can be part of the government (a government coalition). Also parties get funds from the state, if they receive at least 0.5 % of the votes in the federal election or at least 1 % of the votes in a state election.

The donations are needed in a large part to hire people, who help to collect the required support signatures.

The goal of the fundraiser is 45 thousand Euro. That is 3000 Euro per state for the federal election for our 13 state associations and 3000 Euro for each of the two state elections.

But even with less total funds we could still achieve a lot: If we only manage to get enough support signatures for the three states North Rhine-Westphalia, Bavaria and Baden-Württemberg for the federal election, we would already be on the ballot papers of about 51 % of the voters, if one assumes, that the percentage of residents equal the percentage of voters in a state. And if we would manage to be admitted additionally in the four states Lower Saxony, Hesse, Saxony and Berlin, we would be on the ballot papers of about 77 % of all voters (for all 13 states, where we have state associations, it would be about 96 %).

The deadline for submitting the support signatures is the 19th of July 2021. But we ask you to donate as soon as possible, so that there is still enough time for collecting the support signatures.

The German Party for Health Research promotes significantly more government funding for biomedical research to hasten the development of effective medicine against the diseases of old age. At the state election in Saxony-Anhalt on June 6th 2021 e.g. we demand in our election program, that 10 % of the total government budget should be invested in this area additionally (Here is our election program in German). Through the participation in elections we can do advocacy for our issue very efficiently and we give voters the opportunity to show the other parties the importance of our issue by giving us their vote. The more elections we manage to participate in, the faster we get more known, the faster we get more and more votes probably and the bigger is the chance that we will reach our goal faster. And the fact that this year a lot of people will probably vote per postal vote could also be very beneficial for our party. At home people probably look at the ballot paper more thoroughly than at a polling place and if they read our party name on the ballot paper and don’t know us yet, they have the time to search the internet for us, before voting.

The Partei für Gesundheitsforschung (German Party for Health Research) demands, that the state should invest about 5 billion Euro per year additionally into biomedical research to hasten the development of effective medicine against the diseases of old age.
