Thanks for taking the time to look over Darwin’s Error, Sonny, and thanks for taking the time to post your comment. Sorry, I know it is a bit difficult to read the white on black text on this page — selecting the “Switch to White” button in the upper-right-hand corner of this page should help; you may also want to increase font-size through your browser window.

RE: Antarctica. Yes, you may imagine that I come up against this argument on a regular basis — and the irony is that, once upon a time, I spent a year writing what I hoped would become the ultimate save-the-west-antarctic-ice-sheet eco sci-fi adventure — if you’re up for a tour through a paper that tells this tale, it’s linked below Darwin’s Error (above): On the Truly Noncooperative Game of Life on Earth: In Search of the Unity of Nature & Evolutionary Stable Strategy. In short, in the end, I concluded that life is not a choice between good and bad, but between bad and worse! :-)

Thanks again for reading and posting your comment and the great quote!

I am having a hard time reading small white font on black. :)
Here is one for You:
‎“Wow, the incredible thing about Antarctica is that it belongs to everybody. Anyone can go and see that the ice really is melting. So, lets not be naive and wait till the water shows up at our door.” ~Host from Globetrekker
